Neo Dynamic is a new concept in dynamic processing technology. Different from ordinary compressors/limiters, Neo Dynamic not only offers more sonic variety than traditional units, it is far easier to use. Neo Dynamic is based on Sound Magic Award Winning Modeling Technology. This makes Neo Dynamic more like a sampler than typical compressors and limiters.
Item bodies several algorithms (such as sample sets) that make this plug-in easy to expand and extend with new compressors/limiters models in the future. Neo Dynamic starts with 10 compressors/limiters, modelled after famous brand names such as SSL, ,TubeTech and so on. Each of these has their own famous “flavors” ready to use. Sound Magic Modeling Technology accurately models every nuance of these famous compressors and limiters. It took years to model each knob and every control on the real hardware, but the results are amazing.
When we did phase cancelling tests comparing our models with the originals, we got a result of 43dB decreases in volume indicating a 99.5% similarity with the original hardware. Neo Dynamic is easier to use than traditional compressors because of it’s by Sensor Network Technology. When using compressors/limiters, it’s easy to hear the big problems such as over compressing and distortions.
Neo Dynamic goes beyond this, with Sensor Network monitoring every step in the processing ring. It will tell you when over compression is happening – even when it’s not easily audible. It will even let you know when you set the threshold too high telling you that the compressor isn’t actually doing anything. Neo Dynamic will also calculate the distortion rate based on your settings and tell you whether you will have a transparent, clean sound or a heavy, colored Dynamic is provided as a 32bit Windows VST.

VST instruments offer an unprecedented opportunity for the exploration of sound and musical creativity.
The world of hi-tech music and audio has never been so full of possibilities for experimentation and the creation of new sounds.
Sound synthesis instruments which were once prohibitively expensive are now available to everyone in the form of cost-effective software.
Sound Synthesis with VST Instruments helps you realise your own musical creativity by exploring the theory of sound synthesis and linking this to practical examples in the virtual world of VST instruments.
It explains how creating your own original synth patches can inspire a whole new musical composition, how building your own software synthesizer can be the beginning of a new adventure into the world of sound synthesis, and how manipulating and processing samples in revolutionary ways can be the birth of the next cutting-edge dance track.
With practical projects, helpful tips, step-by-step instructions on how to build your own software synthesizer and virtual electric guitar, and in-depth coverage of Reaktor, Tassman, HALion, FM7, B4, Pro-52, LM4-MkII, Attack and many others, Sound Synthesis with VST Instruments will be of interest to musicians, sound synthesists, sound designers, music producers and audio professionals.

Hi, it’s Mike Liebner here and I wanted to welcome you to my new site for musicians and composers who love to use computers to create sounds and music!
I am a sound designer, musician and composer and love to create new sounds and make music!
The basic goal for this site is to present news and announcements and occasional reviews of products I run across in my daily travels. You can expect videos, audio demos, tutorials, interviews, podcasts as well as live events and webinars when the opportunities present themselves.
I check out a lot of virtual instruments, effects and audio editing/recording software of all types and figured it would be smart for me to document what I have found so that other people can get straight info fast and easy without having to search far and wide for the info.
I’ll also present reviews and insert opinions once in a while, but the main goal is to have a reference of sorts for what’s available for musicians.
While the main focus will be on VST Instrument Plugins (vsti’s) and Effects, I will also be presenting news and info on all types of music making software. If it’s something of value and helps us create sounds or make music I will be on it!
I will need your help to guide me towards the stuff that you’re really interested in so I can focus on what you want.
If there is a type of plugin or software or something specific you think I should look at – please tell me!
I will also be working closely with sound designers, musicans, composers and product owners to go a little deeper and look at how this stuff is being used to create music.
I don’t know about you, but I feel there is a huge void and that it is very hard to find out what electronic musicians are using and how they make music using these great digital tools. Apart from the manufacturers occasionally featuring a musician or composer it’s really hard to find out what our favarite recording artists and sound designers are doing when they create sounds and songs.
I look forward to working with musicians of all types, sound designers, producers, composers as well as product owners and manufacturers of music gear and will be doing interviews as well accepting products to review and evaluate.
If you’d like to get some exposure for your music or sounds or if you have something you created or are a product owner – please get a hold of me and let me know what you have!
Maybe we can talk on skype or record a segment for the site!
I’m looking forward to new friendships and alliances with people who are as passionate about sound and music as i am – so don’t hesitate to reach out!
Contact me using the CONTACT FORM or find me on social media.
I hope you enjoy your visit and find lots of valuable information on tools to help you create music! If you are interested in getting exposure for your music or products please Contact me at VST Plugin Labs using our simple contact form!
